Academic Attache'
The Libyan Academic Attaché in Malaysia is one of the specialized agencies affiliated to the Ministry of Education administratively and financially. It was established to represent Libya in cultural and educational affairs and as a cultural link between Libya and Malaysia. It operates under the umbrella of the Libyan Embassy in Malaysia. Based on the interest the Libyan government attaches to developing and preparing Libyan cadres to assume their responsibility in keeping pace with the wheel of development and progress witnessed by Libya in various fields, especially in the scientific and cultural field, which is at the top of its list of priorities.
The mission of the attaché also includes supervising the Libyan male and female students on scholarships and providing them with the opportunity to benefit from the advanced quality of education and training programs in various Malaysian colleges and universities. The number of scholarship students is constantly increasing in various disciplines such as: engineering, science, computer science, technology, business administration, law, social and human sciences, and others after the interest in scholarships to Malaysia for study and training in various disciplines increased and in view of the development and progress enjoyed by Malaysian educational institutions in addition to their scientific level and the advanced modern technology they possess..
