Academic Attache'
The Libyan Academic Attaché in Malaysia is one of the specialized agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Education administratively and financially. It was established to represent Libya in cultural and educational affairs and as a cultural link between Libya and Malaysia. It operates under the umbrella of the Libyan Embassy in Malaysia.
Based on the interest of the Libyan government in developing and preparing Libyan cadres to bear their responsibility in keeping pace with the wheel of development and progress witnessed by Libya in various fields, especially in the scientific and cultural field, which is at the top of its list of priorities, the attaché supervises Libyan students sent to study abroad and follows up on their affairs (academic and financial). The attaché also works to strengthen Libyan-Malaysian academic and research relations. The attaché also provides basic services to Libyan students studying in Malaysia in accordance with the general objectives of the attaché’s work, following up on the academic conditions of students, building strong relationships with officials in educational institutions in Malaysia, and evaluating universities in Malaysia based on the regulations and systems of the Ministry of Higher Education in Libya.
